School Visit - Donkey Care Club
Visiting a local primary school to talk about my trip to East Africa
Last week I visited a local primary school here in North Yorkshire - Le Cataeu primary school, to talk about my recent trip earlier this year to East Africa with the Brooke charity. Before my trip I had visited Le Cataeu school and picked up a scrap book to take to Africa with me to show the children at Thiba primary school what life was like back home here in England compared to out in Kenya.
While I was in Kenya working with Thiba primary school they handed me a scrap book to take back to England with me to show Le Cataeu school, it was all part of a project with the Brooke Charity - It’s quite hard to explain the whole campaign but in 2020 there will be a series of videos and information released to help people understand further.
It was great to visit Le Cataeu and talk about my trip to East Africa and share news from the donkey care clubs in Africa, it was great to see how interested and engaging the students where and hopefully as they grow up they will remember the Brooke charity and show support going forward.
For 2020 I will be working with a series of local schools on the projects which is going to be great to raise further awareness to the charities as Youth Ambassador X
