Jumping in to my pjs this Friday 7th June...
This Friday 7th June 2019 me and Alfie are spending the day in our Pyjamas for Book trust 'Pyjamarama' campaign!
BookTrust is the UK's largest children's reading charity, dedicated to getting books in the hands of children and transforming lives. Every year BookTrust reaches 3.4 million children across the UK with books, resources and support to help develop a love of reading. This includes pre-school children living in refuge centres, to children who don’t have access to stories in their early years, meaning they start school behind their peers.
On Friday 7 June, BookTrust is asking Brits to join in a nationwide campaign called Pyjamarama, that will help us to continue our tireless work. Pyjamarama calls on UK children and adults alike to ditch their normal clothes and, for one day only, don their pyjamas to school, work and out and about in celebration of the bedtime story, and donate £1 to BookTrust. All the money raised will help to make sure that no child misses out on the life changing benefits of a bedtime story.
We would love your help to spread the word and encourage more people to sign up to Pyjamarama support BookTrust, inspire a love of reading among the masses and to help get books into the hands of children who need them the most.
